What is matching?

We need to perform matching to avoid the double counting while interfacing the matrix element calculation and the parton shower at a given multiplicity.

What is merging?

Important point while using matching

  1. $qCut > p_{T}$
  2. Check the Differential Jet Rate (DJR) distribution should be smooth.
